Feeling calmer rarely comes from one big change. More often, it’s built from small moments that tell your nervous system it can rest. Here are five you can start today, no special equipment required.

Tiny rituals, repeated often

Step outside for a few minutes of daylight each morning. Try a longer out-breath than in-breath. Put your phone in another room for the first and last half hour of the day. Move your body in a way that feels kind, not punishing. And end the day by noticing one thing that went okay.

Consistency over perfection

Missing a day doesn’t undo your progress. The goal isn’t a flawless routine — it’s a gentler relationship with yourself, practised a little at a time.
