Teens & families
Adolescence can be a lot — for young people and the families who love them. We offer a warm, non-judgemental space for teens to be themselves, alongside family sessions that help everyone communicate with more understanding.

Format
In person & online
We usually begin with a parent or caregiver conversation, followed by time with your teen on their own. This helps us understand the full picture while giving your young person their own space.
Balancing privacy and involvement
Teens need to trust that therapy is theirs. We’ll agree together on what’s shared with parents, while always keeping you informed about safety and overall progress.
Bringing the family in
When it’s helpful, we invite family members into sessions to practise listening, set expectations and reconnect.

What ages do you work with?
We work with young people from 13 upwards, as well as with parents, caregivers and siblings in family sessions.
What if my teen doesn’t want to come?
That’s okay. Many parents start with a consultation on their own, and we can talk through gentle ways to involve your teen.
Will you tell me what my teen says?
We keep general progress and any safety concerns open with parents, while protecting the day-to-day details your teen shares.
